Get Involved

Friends work at the circulation desk and perform other tasks in the Library, and help with special events as well.

Nine members constitute the board for the Friends organization.  They hold monthly board meetings to manage the activities and budget for the FOL.

Friends work in the used bookstore, sorting and shelving donated books or assisting customers on Saturdays.

Friends write for the FOL newsletter, which is published yearly. To view current and past newsletters, please click here.

We look for books of almost every genre including Thriller, Adventure, Spy, Romance, History, Cooking, Classics, Travel and Children’s books to name just a few. Drop off during book store hours, at the library or in our drop box.

Friends manage the program to sell and install bricks in the walkway behind the library.
