Volunteer with us

Friends work at the circulation desk and perform other tasks in the library, and help with special events as well.

Friends host and provide refreshments for some library events as well as Friends events.

Standing committees include the audit, book sales, building & grounds, communication, walkway & patio, newsletter & website, membership, and fundraising. All members are eligible to serve!

Friends work in the used bookstore, sorting and shelving donated books or assisting customers on Fridays and Saturdays.

Friends write for the FOL newsletter, which is published quarterly. To view this season's newsletter, please click here.

Friends manage the program to sell and install bricks in the walkway behind the library.

Eleven members constitute the  governing board for the Friends organization.
